INTRODUCTIOn
Dance is a huge part of mainstream Korean popular music (K-pop). The impact of K-pop dance reaches wider audience with help of social media network such as Youtube, Facebook and Twitter. For instance, the success of Gangnam Style which is released on July 2012 shows how people around the world are being “swept up” by the Korean Wave of entertainment culture. K-pop dance not only gives impact through their routines, they also have an impact on fans as well. If the steps are interesting enough to perform, Korean fan will learn it by watching the performance over and over. Then, the street is the one of their choice for them to perform and it will called as street dance.
Street dance formally known as vernacular dance which is refers to dance styles that evolved outside of dance studios in any available open space such as streets, parks, school yards or clubs. They are often improvisational and social in nature, encouraging interaction and contact with spectators and other dancers. These dances are a part of the vernacular culture of geographical area that they come from such as tap dance from Ireland, popping dance from America and house dance from Chicago.

The theme of the video is dance is diverse by nature. There are no any rules to street dance as improvisation and freestyle is emphasized. Basically, it is means freely expressing music with one’s body. In this video, there are three examples of street dances include break dance which is originated in New York City, popping dance from America and shuffle dance which originated in Australia. It is dance by Korean people at Korean street. Actually, this shows how just a simple street dance for fun can be a medium for cross culture experiences. The video was filmed at Wangsimni and Sinchon and developed primarily using video editing software, Adobe Premier Pro. Boom Boom Pow song by Black Eyed Peas is chosen as music background. Duration of this video is 4.10 minutes and its size is 906 MB.
